I have an addiction to magazines. So, of course, I am always looking for cheap ways to fund my habit. That is how I happened upon ValueMags.com. MERCHANDISE This site sells only magazines. While they have a lot of the popular magazines, they ...
There was once a time when ordering a magazine was a bit of a hassle. You basically had two choices: purchase a copy from the store and look for a subscription card to send in, or wait for a solicitor to call you. There werent many other ways to...
Pros: Selection of magazines for online purchase Cons: Small amount of titles to choose from, non-competitive pricing, unattractive design
Recently had the chance to do some random surfing here at epinions and ended up at ValueMags.com. The recent influx of new sites added in the Online Stores and Services category has caused the Online Insider to really pound the pavement in order to stay...
I want to highly recommend http://www.Valuemags.com for anyone who reads magazines. Even if you don't need any new subscriptions, this web site lets you manage all of your renewals in one spot. Set it and forget it!
Pros: Good prices, fast and easy, fair selection, friendly staff, THE HUNGER SITE Cons: No options for gift subscriptions!
New Note: I am not going to change the content of the review, so you know how I stood when I first signed up for this service, but now my opinion has changed and I want you to know why. I discovered that my seventy-something dollar order did not go to...
Pros: efficient site design Cons: no options, no online info, want personal info upfront, etc.

Subscription out of the blue??! by cem123,Sep 24 '07
A magazine I never ordered started showing up in my mailbox. The magazine could only tell me it was ordered through valuemags.com, and gave me their customer service number. The first time I called, I got stuck in an endless loop of automatic phone answering system, and eventually just directed to the web site and disconnected. The request I entered in the web site form was not answered. Now, just a few hours after my last call, the 800 number is no longer in service. BEWARE!
