I recently was very pleased to find a great deal on a magazine I had a hard time locating-Curve (a lifestyle magazine for lesbians) at Magazine City. I gladly ordered and paid $22.95USD for 8 issues. I was immediately charged. I was aware that due to the ...
Here's another story to add to the mix of bad reviews so far. I really should have checked here before I placed my order. I placed my order on Jan 22, 2008 for New York Magazine. Their website mentions that a weekly magazine can take around 6 weeks ...
I'm in the same frustrating state of mind as all of you! I ordered InTouch Weekly magazine through Magazine City on Sept. 12, 2007. And I am still waiting for this magazine. I called MagazineCity in Oct. to check status and they said it would take 4-6 ...
Pros: Nothing noteworthy to mention about... Cons: Lousy customer service, charges more than what is deemed fair...
My experience with Magazine City.net was a horrible one. I like to share my story so you won't lose your hard-earned money when dealing with this company. The magazine I wanted at MagazineCity.net was Car and Driver.
Do not make the same mistake I did with Magazine City- RIPOFF! And they will give you the run-around! I purchased a subscription to WWD (a daily newspaper). On the computer generated receipt, it states that daily newspapers usually begin within a ...
I spent over $500 USD at Magazine City on three different magazines to ship internationally. It was every last penny in my bank account, I'd been saving up for months. I'm a student and can't afford much beyond the basics and this was my big luxury item ...
This company is operating in bad faith. They are taking orders and charging credit cards but not delivering the product they contracted to deliver. We ordered two magazines from this company for our daughter for Christmas 2007. They charged our ...
This is the absolute worst company I've ever had to deal with.....yes, worse than the phone company and yes, their customer service department IS worse than Earthlink's outsourced customer service department. Their reps are USELESS, at least Earthlink's ...

Customer service is horrible. Subscriptions may not commence for months (although you are billed IMMEDIATELY), and questions about subscriptions or missed issues are treated with disdain. The small amount of money you save is not worth the...
Wont get magazine or your money back. by skyjuice,Jan 20 '07
Do not waste your money on Magazine City. I ordered a magazine back in july and I havent received it. I called 3 times over the 7 months and have been told various lies about the status of my magazine. I talked to a supervisor named carol powell who also lied to me about checking into the status of my magazine. If you order, you wont get your magazine and your money will not be refunded. Scam.
When I placed my order I screwed up by submitting my brothers old address. It was weeks before I realized what I'd done, but not only did they send out a second gift card the day I called, they even sent him their office copy of the magazine to my brother because my mistake was going to delay things so much. I think they're the best: the service is excellent, you can always get someone on the phone, their prices and selection are great and they're nice folks too!
MagazineCity.net should be run out of town by epinionsangel,Nov 09 '06
Not only did I NEVER get a magazine 12 weeks after being billed, but when I cancelled and subscribed with the magazine directly IT WAS CHEAPER!And, it came in ONE WEEK!
Two months later Magazine City, being a subcontractor of the magazine I ordered, CANCELLED my magazine subscription that I had paid for via credit card directly to the magazine. I went for FOUR WEEKS with no magazine but plenty of apologize from the magazine itself. Magazine City told me I could go f--k myself.
