Barnes and Noble online is great, easy to use and they always have good deals. Keep you eye out for cool coupons that will come up on the screen. They'll even e-mail special offers to you....

I ordered a cd 3 months ago, it was supposed to be delievered within 2 weeks but wasn't sent yet.
I didn't get any notification about the delay and when I wrote them after that time had passed, they answered that I can cancel my order without any offer...

Pros: Very good prices on shipping and products. Cons: Order errors. Not willing to make order corrections in a timely manner.
Ahhh, Barnes & Noble. The store where you can browse for hours without being disturbed by pushy or distrustful employees. The store where you feel like you are welcome. I love the brick & mortar Barnes & Noble.
When I found BN.com, I...

Pros: good selection, decent prices Cons: none
Barnes and Noble has always been one of my favorite brick and mortar stores, but now that I am living in a rural area, there is not a store nearby - so I was happy to find their online store.
I will have to admit that, just like the regular...

Pros: Huge selection; Reliable & trustworthy; Quick checkout and delivery. Cons: Slow website; Search engine not up to par.
I must admit that, up until yesterday, I had never shopped anywhere online except for Amazon. Yesterday, too, I had happily set out with a $10 gift certificate in my hand (mouse?) to the great Amazon.com itself. Not until the last minute did I change my...

Pros: Good selection of items, packaging Cons: Lack of customer service.
I’ve bought quite a number of items from Barnes and Noble in the past. CD albums, CD singles, DVDs and of course, books. Here’s what I think of them based on my personal experiences. (It should be noted however, that I’ve not used them in quite a while,...

Pros: Figures Goods and Services Tax into Canadian orders for accurate total. Cons: Currency exchange rate makes it expensive.
Although the currency exchange rate is high, making B&N a bit expensive, it is worthwhile to note that they figure the Canadian Goods and Services Tax (G.S.T.) into the total of shipments being made to Canada, which not only means an accurate total for...

Pros: Fine selection, decent used book prices Cons: Terrible customer service, just another (yawn) mass market company
I get really tired of spending several hundred dollars in books each semester, some of which I may not pick up again once the class is finished. Health Behavior and Its Determinants may make for a scintillating read while the class is going on,...

Pros: Good selection, decent prices Cons: Out of stock items, delayed shipping, questionable customer service
I have purchased several items from Barnes and Noble, and my experiences have ranged from good to very disappointing. This is not one of my favorite online stores, taking everything into consideration.
Good Points
Barnes and...

Pros: Coupons, coupons, coupons! Cons: Sometimes they have a slow delivery.
If I am looking for a book and I don't want to drive that 47 miles into town, I buy at Barnes and Noble's online store. I occasionally get down to my hometown, Phoenix, and use the retail store as well, but you can't beat the online coupons! Every time...

Pros: Get the MBNA Barnes&Noble credit card for $10 rewards certificates! Cons: slightly less selection than amazon.com
I LOVE Barnes and Noble.com! I do a fair amount of online shopping - and Barnes and Noble is one of my #1 top choices.
Here's why:
1. Go to ebates.com! They offer a 4% rebate on purchases from Barnes and Noble! amazon.com does not...

Pros: good prices on classics, fair selection Cons: lacks the atmosphere of the store, better online book stores available
An avid reader, I find a trip to the local bookstore to be a refreshing event where I can leisurely browse and enjoy the selection of books available. In the last couple of years, I have been able to replicate this experience from the comfort of my own...
