Amazon always processes orders and delivers to your home quickly. I have only had one problem with a mistakenly numbered CD but the store was very helpful in returning it although the CD I was looking for was published for sale, did not exist. This was a fluke because my shopping experience with Amazon has always been terrific.

Overall I have had quite a good experience any time that ive bought with Amazon. However, the postage for a number of books is quite high and could do with being reviewed. I have only had one bad experience, in which I purchased a cd with the understanding that the company concerned alreast had this in stock. After 6 weeks of waiting an many unreplied emails, I finally recieved my disc. I knew that it wasnt Amazon's doing and have purchased items through them since. The good thing is that sellers have feedback and I had the chance to add my view. A great way to find books and records that are no longer in print or press. I enjoy having a look around to see what rare things I can purchase.

I've been a customer for several years now. Items are usually in-stock and competitively priced in comparison to other online merchants. The selection is large and pretty varied. My orders have almost always arrived in a timely manner, usually under 2 weeks for their free shipping over $25. I've never received a wrong item.

Two times, I did not receive items I had purchased from one of their merchants, but I was promptly refunded by Amazon. This is really no fault on the company's part, but if they could have a better rating system or screening of sellers, it would be helpful.

I've never had any problems with returns or their customer service since product descriptions and ratings have been adequate in directing me to buying the exact items I have wanted to get.

Overall, I've been very satisfied with shopping on this site. This is how an online merchant should operate.

Shopping has never been easier than AMAZON! The selection, product organization and absolute simplicity in ordering make AMAZON my best choice for books, music and other products! I am a repeat customer, and shop frequently!

Recently I tried to buy an MP3 player at Amazon. At first it was through a second store (J&R) that promised to ship the item by 3-5 business days. After 5 days I checked and realized that they are out of stock, then I canceled the purchase and re submitted it again at Amazon where this time it was direct deal. Amazon offered me a free shipping super saver within approx 7 days. Well, again after 7 days I realized that they are out of stock and I have to wait for unknown period of time till I will get it. In both cases I was not alerted.
Bottom line is that I fill that Amazon wasted my time and didn't support a good service by alerting me in time for their Back Order.

Amazon.com is truly a necessity in this day and age. They have so many categories of merchandise and are adding more every day. Prices are very competitive and many items come with free shipping (with a $25.(US) minimum order.)
Orders are always accurate and shipping times are reasonable, even the free shipping options.
Be aware though, a good deal of the merchandise on the amazon.com site is sold by third-party vendors who use Amazon to process orders. These other vendors are of varying quality and integrity. Be aware of who is listed as the vendor.
Most items are returnable, if you have the need, but finding a telephone number to contact Amazon is a challenge. Amazon prefers email for all contacts, even returns.
Overall, Amazon.com is a great site and a great shopping experience.

My order of three items was shipped in a reasonable amount of time and each item came when it was promised or before. Free shipping with most items. Quite satisfied.

Have ordered from amazon.com; .co.uk and .fr. Service is always excellent and products are well-packaged. Delivery times are generally accurate even during Bank Holiday periods. Can't remember how I survived before Amazon!

overalll they are great exscpecially if you have problems. but the only problem i have had with them is i preordered some stuff that was guarented to ship obn rlease date and they sold out so i was out of luck and the next time they were getting some in was 3 wks later. so i had to find someone else to get it from right then overall they are great though

I have been shopping at Amazon for over 4 years. I have never had a shipping problem with them even during the xmas madness.

I paid $1698 for a brand new camera lens, Canon EF F/2.8L IS USM. When I received it, the packaging is bad(no shipping support inside the box) and the lens that Amazon shipped to me had dirts all over it. I am giving Amazon a second chance to earn my business by contacting customer service department requesting a replacement unit. It's been more than 12 hours from the time that I called no one from Amazon contact me to confirm that they will ship out a replacement lens. I paid for 2 days shipping because I need the camera for a trip. I regretted that I ordered this expensive lens from Amazon. I should have order it from a BHPhoto or some other big camera store on the web. I am posting the order number here so that someone in Amazon management can see this order and take some action on it. Overall I have always had good service from Amazon. HOWEVER!!! I recently ordered a soup tureen that arrived broken. It was poorly packaged and I noted that in my return request. Obviously no human read that note. The second tureen arrived broken also. this time when i requested a return the automated reply said it was already shipped. i spoke with person and he could/would not assure me the next shipment would be packaged any differently and offered me a full refund. I was very disappointed and will not deal with Amazon for fragile items any longer!

I love ordering from Amazon! It is very easy to complete an order. They have almost everything you can imagine. You can compare prices and find the product that is best for you. They can even give you suggestions on things that you might like based on the things that you have been looking at on the site. Orders usually arrive in a very timely fashion. The accuracy of the order is superb. Overall, I love this website and would certainly recommend to anyone.

I had ordered one or two items from Amazon before and everything was fine. Then I went shopping for a textbook and clicked on the checkout menu to see the total including tax and shipping. I decided not to buy with Amazon yet I still recieved the textbook even though I did not order it and my credit card was charged even though I did not type in my credit card information and did not receive any kind of e-mail confirmation/receipt. I guess they had a record of my information and decided to purchase this book for me. Also, even if I had purchased the book, it was delivered 3 weeks after I had looked up its price. I tried returning it for a refund and was told the charges were valid and could not get a refund. After much heated debate I just had to complain to the credit card company that I was not going to pay these charges becaue I did not make them. Since then I have never shopped with Amazon.

I have ordered from Amazon.com 3 times and have been very pleased with the speed of shipping, prices, and quality of merchandise. I also like the fact that they notify when items are shipped and give an order ID which can be used to track the order while it is being shipped.
