I can never say enough good things about this etailer. They ship instantly, provide continual email updates on your order, have excellent customer service and all items arrive when expected (if not earlier). Their pricing is usually very competitive. Do not hesitate making a purchase with this etailer. I once again received 2 items, both of which arrived well within the stated time frame and were exactly what I ordered and were packaged safely. My amazon.com shopping experiences continue to be excellent.

Placed order for a Cuisinart DLC-5 Food Processor on October 17, 2003. Item was "in-stock" and "usually ships within 24 hours." After placing the order, I was informed that I should expect delivery some time after November 13, 2003. Nearly a month later! Wrote email to customer service. Extremely unhelpful. How long should it take to place a box on a truck??? Avoid them, you'll thank yourself!

Amazon does a really good job to help customers make an informed buying decision. You can get all information around the click, all in a well-structured manner. It automatically stores your old shipping addresses, remember what you had browsed, put related items or accesories beside your shopping cart. Overall, Amazon is the most intelligent online store i ever experienced.

"Free Super Saver Shipping" for an in-stock item is taking more than a week just for Amazon to ship.

For my next item, I've upgraded to standard shipping and hope it will result in Amazon pushing it out the door faster. But it sounds like people who shop there more than myself have experienced little difference between the free and paid service.

I've been using Amazon for years and, until now, in-stock items arrived in less than a week. But now they're not even shipping items within a week. This significant lag time is new and it sucks.

I absolutely LOVE this retailer. I have been ordering things from them for years. I always get so nervous ordering online (have had sooooo many bad experiences in the past with other merchants), but Amazon has always been awesome for me. I live in Hawaii so things can be hard to get sometimes and this company includes us when offering free shipping (most other merchants rob us blind for shipping). In the past when I've had to return anything, they sent me a pick up ticket, no problems and no attitudes. Customer reps have been very polite and professional. They answer emails right away. At Christmas an item didn't arrive until the day after, they refunded all shipping costs with sincere policies. I really thought it was going to be a long shot for the item to make it in time anyway. I have found all products ordered to be top notch. I have bought a coffee maker, pressure cookers, printers, all kinds of household items, a vacuum, and books just to name of few. I just can't say enough good things about amazon, and believe me, I'm hard to please. Just ask my husband!!! :-)

We recently purchased a Toshiba PDA from Amazon.com. The unit was shipped from one of their "independent" sellers. The unit is a piece of trash. After contacting Toshiba, we find out that the unit is a Canadian unit and can not be serviced in the United States. Canadian Toshiba customer service says that they can not handle the problem because we bought it in the US from a US company and it has to be serviced in the US. Amazon says that they have no responsibility since we bought it from one of their "independent" sellers and the seller just doesn't respond at all. So, we are caught in the middle of this run around and we are out the money. Just know that when you buy through Amazon, they do not stand behind their products sold by their "independent sellers" after 90 days. The warranty means nothing.

I always shop Amazon. com before shopping anywhere else. Great selection, good prices and I like that you can read reviews of the products. They have fast shipping and super easy returns.

I would not recommend Amazon to anyone...not even my worst enemy. I ordered a Garmin 2620 GPS system for my Dad for Christmas on 12/16. The Amazon website showed that it was in stock and they promised delivery by 12/23. It is now 12/26 and my item never shipped. After repeated phone calls and numerous emails I have been told that it has not shipped due to a technical problem. Of course nobody is smart enough to figure out how to get my order shipped. I have asked for some kind of compensation for not having a gift Christmas day for my father. All they offer is that I can refuse delivery. That's just great...Did they ever hear of customer satisfaction????

Disappointed by the bait and switch tactics...the magellan platinum GPS list at $209.88 on the lowest price list, but when you click on the price for ordering details they send you to another menu with a list of other GPS units...none priced at $209.88...next best offering is a used model...

I bought this toaster/convection oven when the broiler on my kitchen oven stopped working. I didn't want to buy a new range and the oven part still works so I decided to search for the appropriate toaster oven.

I bought the Cuisinart based on reviews found on this site. I needed a small but efficient broiler and got that plus a great convection oven. I very rarely use my regular oven any more.

I find some of the previous complaints are accurate, (small, no stop on the timer, hard to clean but this baby cooks really fast and really good. Chicken comes out crispy but juicy.

One problem I'm having is the drip pan curves up during cooking. It was recommended that a little water be put in the tray under the drip pan to cut down on splatters but I like those juices on my meats.

But this is a great buy. I just wish I had bought it at the wholesale club for $99.99 instead of the department store that charged $179.99.
