The delivery times advertised is very misleading and not at all accurate. My order was meant to be delivered within two working days and it took two weeks. The customer service has gone down hill in a big way, they made unprofessional excuses and than ignored my emails when I complained. I have been using Amazon for years and now I will not order from them again. It is their attitude and lack of caring once they have your money. I am to make a complaint to trading standards as Amazon are advertising delivery times just to get you in the trap, once you pay they deliver when they feel like it. My satisfaction overall is to never use them again. They really don't care anymore.

I've ordered three or four times from Amazon.com and each time I have had great success. I first ordered a used college textbook, and the supplier was very kind in answering my questions by email before ordering. It was shipped in a timely manner in good packaging. Item came as it was described. Secondly, I ordered items for Christmas, and all of the items came in record time to be given as presents. If you can order items that meet the free shipping do so. I will definitely be ordering through Amazon.com, in fact, I check with them first before ordering any items.

Suggestion to add your "Zip +" Code to shipping form to aid in shipping to correct address.!

Free Shipping for orders over 25.00 is a lie. After I was at final check out, then I find this out. Shipping was 8.95. The explanation said because I wasn't purchasing directly from Amazon.com. I went to Amazon.com and saw the ad free shipping, and ordered my item. This was false advertisement and it was bate and switch. This false ad should be made clear from the beginning not at the end.

I have had so much trouble with this site.
Took them forever to get my account and password correct. I've had to call to get orders to work. Hard to find a number. Then the books still don't ship.

Order accuracy, breadth of inventory and persistence of customer service are all great, as usual. However, this Christmas, delivery speed was a nightmare. Two Christmas presents ordered before the Christmas Delivery cut-off date were consigned to UPS hell and haven't yet been delivered. UPS is just too busy to service Amazon's volume I guess. I will not rely on Amazon for on-time delivery any more.

I orderd a book and paid the same day 2 hours later i get a email stateing the book was no longer available (wish this was mentioned before hand)I requested a refund which they had agreed now 5 days later and still no payment from them.
I telephoned amazon they wasent helpfull at all i had to wait 3 weeks before i could make a claim but they was so quick taking my cash
It false advertising and because they dont get into trouble about it they will do it all the more.
I wont shop at amazon anymore there communication skills are shocking they lie and cheat you out of your well earned money.

I have ordered many, many times over the years from Amazon. I have been a very loyal customer. Consequently, I have tried every year to order at Christmas, expecting that THIS may be the year when they get it right. I have been VERY DISAPPOINTED EVERY CHRISTMAS. They seem to do well 11 months of the year, but come December, even though I order early and everything I order is marked "ships in 24 hours", the order is not shipped until a couple of days before Christmas, or even AFTER CHRISTMAS, and the order comes LATE every year. So, I have to go out and buy the same things elsewhere and return the Amazon items. I don't know why I suffer amnesia yearly in December, but it has happened EVERY YEAR. If they could get December right, they would be high on my list.

I order something for Christmas and was assured it would be delivered on time. I even paid for next day delivery. I received e-mails with a estimated delivery date, re-assurances that the delivery would be made on time. NO DELIVERY!! I have canceled the order and will not order from Amazon again unless I cannot buy the product from another supplier. If they had told me it would be late, that would have been fine. But I received e-mails telling me everything was fine and then on Christmas day I received an e-mail telling me the delivery would be late. That is totally unacceptable. There is a total lack of professionalism in how this entire order was handled. I have already ordered the product from another vendor, and it was actually less expensive.

Amazon has really helped me through birthdays, and other holidays. The delivery is fast. The orders are always accurate, and The customer service is fantastic!! I have made several orders and have never been disappointed.

I've purchased 2 products through Amazon and both were received in a very timely manner and in good working condition. I would purchase from them again.

Amazon.com has always had an excellent supply of books, including many academic books. Quick delivery, even if you get the free shipping. I've never had a problem with order accuracy. Once I called customer service after Christmas to return a package. They were very helpful and friendly. The return of the item went smoothly and the funds were quickly returned to my credit card. No hassles.

It's also great that they offer so many different products.

The only initial experience I had with shopping at Amazon, was a credit card promotional offer they were sponsoring. It was a great offer, but I had difficulty in trying to apply the $30.00 discount offer. From there on, it was clear sailing with my entire order!

Amazon is the best store on the Internet. They are safe, your information is secure, they will guarantee their third-party sellers, their prices are low, I have NEVER had a bad experience with Amazon, and I have spent thousands there. I always go to Amazon first when buying online.

The wonderful thing about Amazon.com is the accurate, fast delivery to the "hinterlands" of rural America where I live. See it on line, buy it on line, pick it up from the hands of the UPS man. I've never been let down, stiffed or had an order botched by Amazon.com.
