Official Speech Writer for Shleps (Short Ladies of Epinions).
I'm happily married to my husband and I'm also Mom to my two darling kids. My daughter and I study violin together (Suzuki method) and I collect cookbooks and recipes and enjoy dreaming up and testing new dishes. During the summer I enjoy hiking in the mountains ~ although when snow descends, I prefer drinking hot chocolate to skiing.
My new hobbies ~ geocaching in the Rockies... and figuring out HTML codes...
My epi-philosophy ~ I don't believe your personal or political views (as expressed on Epinions) should be held against you as far as rating or trusting. As long as you are well-reasoned, eloquent and honest enough to tell it like you see it, I don't care if I disagree with your position 100%, I'll rate your review on its own merits. Sorry, though, I don't enjoy reading crude language or explicit subject matter so I probably will stay away from reading those.
Trusting ~ I'd like to thank each member who has trusted me! I appreciate the leap of faith. It may take me awhile to get familiar with your writing, but please give me a chance to return the favor.
I recently started a new job ~ so I don't have as much time to read, rate and comment as I used to, but eventually I will get through my email alerts ~ at least, I hope so!
In my non-Epi life, I design lots of maps with GIS (geographic information systems). When I'm not sitting at a computer or shlepping my kids, I'm busy being a Mom ~ the best job in the world!

Tintin and friends: The heroes of one of my favorite childhood graphic adventure novels, published in the 1940s by Herge. The novels are still entertaining for young adults today, in which Tintin and Captain Haddock solve mysteries and crimes. Not for young children, though ~ watch out for opium smuggling, whisky drinking, some violence and a few stereotyped characters in the books.
I love colorful things, as you can tell :)credit: http://www.sxc.hu/photo/1017280 (mehere)
