INTERNET RELEASE: APRIL 2001 <br> <br> BMW's THE HIRE is an innovative Internet film series that combines a unique marketing program with terrific short films made by some of the world's finest directors. Each of the five primary films in the series stars Clive Owen (CROUPIER) as the Driver, who gets involved with famous, mysterious clients seeking different destinations while being tracked and hunted by murderous gangs, suspicious spouses, and fanatical papparazzi. The films, of course, feature dangerous car chases and terrific stunts (that show off the myriad ability of different BMW models) while also telling compelling stories that end with creative plot twists.
