My name is Letta Meinen I recently moved to Salado, Texas and continue to work on writing on www.epinions.com and creating different types of books. I also write for a web site called elderwisdomcircle.org where the older members write answers to different questions. My other interests include golf, photography, politics, art, cooking and decorating my home.

My first published book came about after I had taken a childrens writing course some years ago. I have always been interested in history and thought a book aimed a product many people enjoy and learn its history.

I divided it into four sections where Cinnamon was most used to change our world. After each section I included food and craft items that go along with that period of time.

This is an e-book for very young children ages three to five. It is a picture book that an adult can read to them on where one can look for God. In each series of pictures the word God is written on one of the pictures and the child must look for the word. It evenually takes them to areas familiar to them and they can find God within themselves.. This book is an ebook with an online publisher called www.ebookomatic.com

My new book called Kitchen Magic is to be published by www.booklocker.com and includes some ways to change recipes to go with the new diets of low carb, low fat and low salt. This book is published in color and many colorful pictures of completed recipes are included. I used my digital camera to take pictures of many recipes. I used some of the magic of my Photography software to create a background cartoon like pictures for some of the pages to each of the chapters of the book.

This is a cover for an e-book that includes many of the sayings I have added at the end of all my reviews written on www.epinions.com. I divided them into seven categories and typed several on each page. The background of each page is a sepia picture I have taken of objects in my home and faded them so the brown colors of the letters are prominent.

This pictures is in the backyard of my new home in Salado Texas. I moved here in July of 2004 right on Mill Creek Golf Club. I can pick up stray golf balls in my yard but enjoy the great view of the signature golf hole called The Heart of Texas. The green and sand traps are shaped like a heart and the tee box is the arrow.

We spent many winters here since 1984 so it became a second home and I am enjoying it all.

This picture is the cover of the book I started to write of my husband' Bill's Life in 2002. I took a writing course from booklocker.com on how to write your life story. Since Bill had been very ill after serious operations and followed with a stroke I felt it was important to have him remember his youth. I finished the book after he passed away on March 12, 2003. It was published locally for my family and friends. This was a gift to my family for his Memorial in Salado, Texas on Fathers Day on June 15, 2003
