Outlook 2003 is part of the Office Suite of software produced and distributed by Microsoft. I had tried out the Office 2003 Professional suite of software at work some time ago, and recently was given the opportunity to buy the very same software for my ...
Pros: Great Spam blocking ability Cons: Blocks certain attachments (I haven't found a way around this)
I am the spam queen. It isn't uncommon for me to get 200 to 300 spam messages a day. I've been using Mailwasher to remove spam for the longest time. Lately, it hasn't been working so hot, and has been causing me problems. So, when our computers ...
Pros: Spam-filer is greatly enhanced; better support for email; new look and feel. Cons: Spam-filter does not “learn.”

Pros: Many new features. None essential. Cons: Buggy system. At least my version.
Outlook 2003 is the tool I use everyday in the office. I have been using Outlook since 1998 and will like to comment on the new Outlook compared to the previous versions. New improved feature include (1) Auto-preview. Looks a lot better than the old ...
Pros: Awesome features, kicks Spam in the but, manages your life. Cons: Limited stationary and template options
Overview In my office and even at home Microsoft Outlook 2003 takes center stage in organizing my information overloaded life. From school, work, organizations and a barrage of other interests and associations of mine I am constantly bombarded ...
Pros: Compatibility with GMail, etc. Cons: Multiple e-mail accounts, contact lists, and calendars are not reliable.
I am fairly certain I've fouled up the Calendar function of Outlook. Having given up on fixing it, I have tried uninstalling the entire Office suite a few different ways to attempt reconstructing my account. When reinstalled, the previous account is always attempted by Outlook, to be reaccessed (issues and all). I'm losing my mind. My decision will now include saving the files I still need and wiping my entire hard drive. I'll then need to reinstall all my programs from scratch. Argh.
Pros: I could get it off my system without a problem Cons: It is a step backwards from Outlook 2000
I just spent $105 dollars on this and it was a waste of $105. It did not import my mail account settings (I have 10 email accounts I use). Its interface is cluttered and much harder to use than Outlook 2000. It appears to be designed for people who have never used Outlook and is more cumbersome than the older versions. Thankfully when I removed it and reloaded Outlook 2000, all of the old settings were automatically loaded.
Not worth the upgrade price by r_harvey,Feb 10 '04
Pros: Easy-to-navigate interface Cons: Doesn't work with any version of WORD except 2003
Stand-alone upgrade from OL 2002 went smoothly, and the new UI is nice. But it's OL with Spambayes (a well-known freeware spam filter solution) built-in. Worse, when I went to write a letter to one of my contacts, I discovered that OL 2003 only works with WORD 2003! NOWHERE on the packaging (or in all of the praise-filled media reviews) did I see this limitation mentioned!
