Pros: If you like a good mystery with romance and a beautiful coastline, this is it. Cons: Some of the details didn't quite match up, at least in my mind.
I read that this 2003 low budget movie, which was just released this year (2006) went straight to video. Sometimes low budget, straight to video movies are real duds, but I really enjoyed this one. Half Light stars Demi Moore as Rachel Carlson, ...

Pros: Cinematography, Musical score Cons: Unoriginal plot, Contrived ending

Half Light - Nice Little Ghost Tale
by drdevience,Nov 14 '06
Pros: Demi Moore, setting Cons: old premise
Demi Moore stars in this tale of a writer with a dead son who goes off to an obscure island to get her head together. While there, she falls in love with one of the locals. This is no ordinary local, but I won't spoil the twist for you.
Suffice it to say that Half Light involves a few hauntings, and will keep you rapt for the duration. This just may well be Moore's greatest role (even though the film seems to have been kept a secret, at least from me. damn it.)
