Pros: Entertaining show with good cast. Cons: Got silly and even corny in some episodes.
In the fall of 1993, one of the new shows on ABC was Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. I started watching the show then and kept watching it throughout the run of the series. In 2005, Lois & Clark: The Complete First ...
Pros: Lois is smart and sassy Cons: Would have liked a few more DVD extras
Superman is an old man. Lets face it. He made his debut back in 1938 as a stranger from another planet with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men. He has graced every single piece of merchandising that can possibly be conceived. His ...
Pros: Action and romance with a superhero bent Cons: Not enough continuity with Luthor

Pros: Good writing, good acting, (a little cheesy) but still a great show! Cons: None

"Who, dressed as Clark Kent..." by anhesbrotj,Apr 13 '06
Pros: Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane, and John Shea is intriguing as Lex Luthor Cons: somewhat dated effects
Often criticized as the weakest interpretation of the Superman mythology, I believe Lois & Clark should be taken for what it is-- simply a different interpretation of the mythology. In most Superman incarnations, Superman is the character and Clark Kent is the disguise. In Lois and Clark, Clark Kent is the character, and Superman is his disguise. This point is illustrated clearly by a quote from later in the series, "Clark Kent is who I am. Superman is what I can do." However, the first season set the tone for the rest of the series. Most, if not all of the main characters are memorable and even lovable. Even Teri Hatcher's performance as Lois Lane became a benchmark for the character and was essential for the sexual tension that drove the show. I strongly recommend Season 1 for any Superman fan as well as any fan of romantic comedy.
