The movie, Same Time Next Year is my favorite movie ever!! That sounds very much like a 10 year old, but as a proud, yet tired 45 year old, this movie makes me feel good about true love, even if your Soul Mate is married. The acting is superb and the story is applicable for the times. This is the story of two people who are married to two other people who fall in love with each other and meet the same time every year. They survive through war, death, the delivery of a baby and more death. This is a touching tale of love and it makes adultery look not so bad. A great movie!

I saw this movie when it first came out and recognized the beautiful Mendocino Coast in California. The set took place at the Heritage House in Little River, CA and they still have cottages named Same Time and Next Year. Every five years the couple met at the same time with new events in their lives always in conflict with each other. As the years progressed through the 1950's, '60's, and '70's many topics are presented from politics, motherhood, family life, education, death, and love. Same Time Next Year contains no violence, explicit sex, or abusive language, just good comedy, likeable characters, and interesting topic. This is a good relaxing, laughable movie for adults.
