Cons: it's a litte down, would have liked maybe just one more up-tempo bluesy number
Finally, an acoustic record from Preacher Boy! Nobody plays the National like he does, and he's finally letting us hear it. And it's a good time to finally be able to understand his lyrics, because they're phenomenal, Preacher Boy is a major writing talent. If you like your blues to touch on Tom Waits, Son House, and Townes Van Zandt, this is for you!
