    Pros: Easy installation, Electrical connection are dependable and durable, Good detail.
    Cons: Some screen fogging, Gimbal mount is not sufficient to maintain screen position in rough water.

    Pros: Easy to use, excellent level of detail (including thermocline), very useful features/functionality.
    Cons: The transducer is very sensitive to any turbulence or incorrect mounting location.

    Summary: I use the sonar when fishing for Salmon on Georgian Bay (Lake Huron). I fish in the spring and fall when the conditions are rough and cold. So far this unit has done an excellent job with no problems (even in freezing temperatures and driving rain).
