Pros: easy to use, no rings/buckles to fuss with, tailored sizing, variety in patterns. Cons: getting your baby out of it
Slings are getting to be very trendy these days. I've even heard one mom say that they're becoming the new stroller. Luckily they are cheaper than strollers! I originally wanted a sling because of the benefits listed by experts like Dr. Sears. ...
I've tried several different styles of infant carriers and slings, and the Hotsling is by far the BEST one I've ever found. I own three of them, and I buy one for every expectant mom I know. STYLE The Hotsling is a non-adjustable, pouch-style ...
Pros: Eases sore arm muscles. Freedom of movement. Price. Cons: Difficult to get the munchkin out. Traps heat against body.
I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical when we got our first hot sling, but this product really is a lifesaver. Our little one had colic, and it's just not possible to carry your child in your arms for 18 hours a day. My wife and I both had sore arms, our ...
Pros: HIGH STYLE, PRICE, GROWS WITH CHILD, COMPACT, SAFE Cons: TAKES SOME GETTING USED TO
I love my HOTSLING! I bought this sling for my newborn and am so glad i did, I love having him so close to me, and as a nursing mother it made feeding time easy to conceal. It is great design, you are able to fold it up so small it fits right in the ...
Pros: Comfortable, large selection of patterns & colors, no buckles/rings makes it feel more secure Cons: hard to get baby out of, horrible customer service
My Personal Experience Shortly after giving birth to my son I decided to search for a sling since I knew from the day I found out I was expecting that baby-wearing was for me. I went through many carriers, wraps, and slings and finally after many ...
Pros: VERY comfy for baby and mom, folds up small, beautiful and hip patterns Cons: Proper sizing is a MUST, learning curve
I got a Hotsling in Solstice print when my large baby number was already about 6 months old and over 22 lbs. Although, I didn't think I would really be into "babywearing", I was desperate to find something I could put him in and carry him in hands-free ...
Pros: Neutral colors, calms fussy babies, give you use of your hands when holding baby Cons: fit isn't perfect, a little expensive
My son was born a high needs baby. He needed to be held almost constantly and never enjoyed the baby swing or bouncer. When he was little I had an over the shoulder baby holder and it worked pretty well but I never quite got the hang of exactly how it ...
Pros: Quality, easy to use, compact, stylish, affordable. Cons: None
This is by far the best baby product I have purchased. It is worth every penny. Long after most of the other baby gear was outgrown I was still able to use my Hotsling. I could wear my toddler on my hip in the Hotsling long after he outgrew our front ...
Pros: Arms free.
Folds up small for ease of travel.
Washes well. Cons: Harder to get baby in when they are bigger.
I absolutely love my Hotsling. I bought it after having a different brand of sling with my 2nd child that I wasn't overly fond of. The Hotsling fits me so well. There are no gaps and the baby lies right next to my tummy rather than my hips. I also ...
Pros: Attractive, small and lots of positions available. Cons: Not as secure as other styles.
Baby carriers are like strollers, you usually wind up with more than one and no two people like the same one (no two babies either). Just keep this in mind when beginning or continuing on your quest for a carrier. Personally I own 5 carriers and 5 ...
Pros: stylish, functional, versatile, light Cons: put too much pressure on one shoulder
I have two Hostlings and love them both. I keep one in my car and one at home. I started using them from the moment I brought my preemie home; keeping her in there was sometimes the only way to calm her down. Now that she is older and bigger, she enjoys ...
Pros: Comfort, patterns, ease of use and longevity, price. Cons: Price for the luxury or designer ones.
The Hotslings sling is truly my favorite baby item. My daughter had colic and "wearing" her was the only thing that got me through 8 weeks of fussing and crying. As long as she was in the sling, she was content. My daughter is now 7 months old and ...
Pros: Ease of use, baby's comfort, hands free Cons: None
The Hotsling is the best investment you can make for baby! My son is four weeks old and I use mine on every outing. It is such a space saver unlike strollers and infant car seats. Whenever I see a mom exhausted and carrying her child in her arms I think "She needs a Hotsling!" The best part has to be baby's comfort; my son sleeps for hours at a time even in noisy places. And it's great around the house too, when you need to tidy up and baby just won't let you.
A must-have for every baby! by purpleheather,Oct 25 '06

A sling is an item that should be on every expectant parents' wishlist. The hotsling is affordable, easy to use, and babies LOVE it! The sling keeps the baby close, keeps mom's hands free, and lets the baby stay in a position that is most comfortable to them without compromising mom's comfort too.
