The movie High School Musical 2 was shown on the Disney Channel in August of 2007. It is a sequel to the first movie, High School Musical. In HSM2, the East High Wildcats get summer jobs at Lava Springs Country Club. This is the same country club that Sharpay and Ryan’s family own. This means trouble for Troy and Gabriella because Sharpay is trying to get Troy for herself. The movie is filled with all new songs and dances performed by the Wildcats.
I enjoyed both HSM and HSM2. I especially liked the songs, dances, and the characters in both movies. My favorite song from HSM2 was “What Time is It” and my favorite dance scene was when they were dancing for the baseball game and the song “I Don’t Dance” was playing. The character Sharpay was determined to get Troy during the movie. This made the movie interesting to watch.
If you liked HSM, I think you will love HSM2! I give it 5 stars out of 5!
