Pros: Waterproof, one-time-use, great for water parks and trips to the pool and/or beach. Cons: No zoom, subject must be close-up or developed photos may be disappointing.
Ask anyone that knows me and they'll tell you that I take TONS of pictures!! All of my kids grew up with a camera in their faces from babies on and always groan when I whip one out to take a picture of the most mundane of occasions. Late last fall, I ...

Pros: Simple to use, great outdoor/underwater pictures, sturdy, inexpensive Cons: Not really - you get exactly what you pay for
Everybody takes pictures on vacation. If we didn’t, how would we be able to torture our friends with our photo albums filled with 65 pictures of us standing on the beach? If we didn’t live in the era of the digital camera, how could we make those ...

Good water Camera But not when humidity strikes
by gurlwithapen,Jul 30 '07
Pros: Great for underwater fun, they also float! Cons: Foggy lense on humid days=not nice pictures
We went on a river float trip this year. Myself and 2 of my friends had all purchased this camera to document our ride.
The camera is waterproof, however, all 3 of us had the same problem--about halfway through the roll of film, the camera viewer (plastic outer protection) began to fog up...so on all 3 rolls of film, the first half comes out clear and the 2nd half of the exposures are all very foggy and hard to see.
I guess it was just the humidity on the river or something..but I have used these before (even on the same river) and have never experienced this before...

DON"T BUY if you like pictures!!!!
by dadgumkid,Aug 18 '07
Pros: cheap and found just about anywhere. Cons: housing leaks, photos turn out black when developed, overall disappointment!!!
I purchased various of these cameras. I sent one with my sone to Havasupai Falls in the Grand Canyon. To my suprise it leaked; therefore, ruined all photos taken with it. I also sent one with my daughter to Pantanal, Brazil. She went snorkeling and was in very shallow waters. She took all the photos. Only when she left there she sent the photos to be developed and they turned out ALL BLACK!!!Luckly she rented a professional camera too and didn't loose all her photos. A once-in-a-lifetime experience recorded NO THANKS TO FUJI!!!!
Sent the camera to Fuji they sent another new one and said nothing was wrong with the one I sent before. MY QUESTION...SO WHY DID BOTH CAMERAS HAVE PROBLEMS....WHY????BECAUSE....THEY DON'T WORK....AND AREN'T WATERPROOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just think that Fuji should not tell people that nothing is wrong with their cameras when I sent them with water inside the housing unit. It looked like a goldfish in a fish bowel!! Ok not that much nut there was water sloshing around in them. I think that there is more potential with digital cameras and epoxy coated circuits than conventional cameras with cheaply or badly made housing units.

Helps capture the fun in the water
by rachelvc316,Nov 16 '07
Pros: Can take it in water Cons: Doesn't have a zoom
I have used the Fuji Quick Snap camera when i have gone to amusement parks, and places i know there would be water. It is very helpful because i could still capture the moments without ruining my camera. It also still took decent pictures. It is still a good camera though.
The Fuji Quick Snap Waterproof camera is a good camera if consumers don't want to spend a lot of money for a new waterproof camera. The camera does not have any zoom which makes taking some pictures hard to take. On the plus side you can let the camera get wet and not have to worry about it ruining it.

This camera is awful
by pcoon,Jun 10 '08
Pros: None Cons: everything about the camera
We went on our annual river trip this past weekend. I bought four waterproof cameras. Everyone of them as soon as we put them in the water the lens fogged up from the inside and all the pictures came out fuzzy. Looked like everyone one is a fog and you couldn't tell what was what. I am really disappointed. We take this trip every year and the normal pictures I get our amazing. This year I came up with 10 pictures that I could tell what they were out of 144 shots plus the waste of money getting them developed. I will never buy a Fuji water camera again.
