Pros: Portable, easy to set up (cleanup). Cons: Tepid water, loses heat fast, confined.

too expensive on electricity
by amanieux,Dec 05 '07
Pros: good idea, good price, simple to use Cons: too expensive to run (100$/month), must be plugged within 10 feet of a wall socket.
price of this external spa was good,it was easy to setup it works well but ....
1/ it looses too much heat and even in a nice climate like san francisco it costs 100$ per month to heat ( in 6 months the price of electricity was more than the price of the hardware)
2/ they have an issue with their electric system preventing you from using a electric coord extender so you must plug it in a wall socket with just their 10 feet coord - this is too bad for a product people like me wants at the exterior of the house on a deck on in a garden.
so if they insulate much better their spa (to lower the electric bill) and if they solve their 10 feet maximum electric coord this can be a very nice product.
