Leave it to Capt. Kirk and company to break a few eggs in order to make an omelette. Spock's brains are scrambled, the Klingon ship is equally so, and the planet Earth is on the verge of extinction unless Kirk and company can save two whales and bring them back to their time period. The funny thing is, the things they do to bring back the whales are FUNNY - like Scotty talking to a computer mouse (in the days before DragonSpeak or ViaVoice software existed), or McCoy giving a dialysis patient a pill to regrow her kidneys, calling dialysis barbaric (I have a kidney transplant - I wish it were that easy to regain kidney function), or Kirk ordering a large pepperoni pizza identical to that of Gillian's, not realizing how large a large pizza could be.

Gee, Dr. McCoy - can I have one of those pills to regrow my kidneys? And while you're at it, is there one to regrow the adrenal glands?
