In life one must have hair products that do the job! I think we all agree to that statement. Some of us have such thick hair that becomes so hard to manage, while others have that perfect hair. Me, well, my hair falls under that thick category.
I have used a lot of hairsprays over the years and I have a couple of favorites that cost very little. Even with today’s gas prices causing all products to go up, I can still get my favorites under 2.00 at Wal Mart. Slightly higher prices depending on size I choose to buy. Mostly I buy the 7 to 10 ounce bottles of spray for various reasons. Cost and storage!
One of my favorite hairsprays is White Rain. In fact, both my girls and now my son use the products as well as myself. I have found the hairspray to do the job I need and holds in high winds and that is a good thing for me. There are no flaky residues left behind and it does not make my scalp itch like other brands do. I don’t know about you all but for me having a hairspray that leaves flakes is not a good thing at all. Not to mention it being an embarrassing moment in life.
The Product
From the container: Use White RainŽ Classics Unscented Extra Hold Hair Spray for a beautiful, natural looking hold that last all day long. It’s specially formulated with extra strength holding power to keep hair in place. This formula helps leave hair soft and natural looking with lustrous shines, and won’t clash with perfume scents.
I have found these to be very true statements. I love the way this spray goes on and it is very light. I can also brush through my hair later on and there are no tangles, just softness, re-spray and once again my hair looks great! White RainŽ Classics Unscented Extra Hold Hair Spray is just a wonderful product for me. I love the fact that it is unscented because it will not clash with my perfumes or other body products that I love to wear.
The Bottle
The bottle that I purchase mostly is the 7 fl oz, gray with a mauve spray pump cap. The cap has a clear plastic cover. The bottle is recyclable, which of course is better for the environment. The writing is blue and white and the White RainŽ symbol is on front. Nice to know that some things have not changed in our economy because I can still spot this one on the shelf easily.
Ingredients
SD Alcohol 40-B, Water, Isopropyl Alcohol, VA/Crotonates/Vinyl Neodecanoate Copolymer, Octylacrylamide/Acrylates/Butylaminoethyl Methacry, Panthenol Provitamin B5, Aminomethyl Propanol, Lauryl Pyrrolidone, Methyl Gluceth-20, Cyclopentasiloxane, and Masking Fragrance. Boy those were hard to type!
White RainŽ Classics Unscented Extra Hold Hair Spray Meets EPA clean air standards.
Warning
Flammable, avoid fire, flame or smoking during use and until hair if thoroughly dry. Avoid spraying in eyes and keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed.
With my small grandson around I have to always make sure that I put this product and others up out of his way. He is at the age where everything is his and he takes what he sees when he sees it! He is also a little climber so I make sure that I have him safe.
Directions
This part is pretty simple. Fix your hair the way you want it and spray. Make sure that you do not spray close to the face though because hairspray in the eyes really does burn! Ha!
How I Feel
I have used White RainŽ Classics Unscented Extra Hold Hair Spray for a long time now. And I have been most happy with it. The feel of it on my hair is great and like I mentioned above, I can brush through my hair with no tangles and re-spray my hair for a wonderful shine and feel. It holds well all day and even on windy days.
I really do like the softness of my hair after using this product. And I also like the fact that the hair spray washes out well. I love the non-stickiness that I don’t get when using this product.
Also I can wet my hands just a little and run through my hair and refresh the spray through out the day if I choose too. This is very handy when I forget to bring it with me.
White RainŽ Classics Unscented Extra Hold Hair Spray has become another household product for my family along with their shampoo and cream rinse. In fact, my son loves those best.
