Bigger Pacifier for my Bigger Baby! The First Years Sesame Street

Pros: Price, quality, bigger size than other pacifiers
Cons: A bit hard to find!
The Bottom Line: At $1.50 a piece you can stand to lose a couple of these, stock up if you find them. They are my babys favorite!

I started out with a few of the Winnie the Pooh pacifiers made by the First Years and it was the main pacifiers that my oldest baby liked. All of the others just seemed too small and constantly dropped out of his mouth and he couldn't get a good latch on with them. We were constantly popping pacifiers back into his mouth unless he had one of these First Years pacifiers. I did have two big babies, over 9 lbs, but even the 9-12 month sized pacifiers didn't stand up to these First Years Ultra Kip pacifiers.
These pacifiers have a 'bubble' on the end that makes it way easier for baby to hang onto and in my baby’s case way more comforting. They are orthodontic shaped and have a contoured shield to 'fit' with baby's face. There is two holes in the face plate to keep from suctioning onto baby’s face. They are latex so they will be long lasting but you might not want to give this to an infant that you aren't sure of a possible latex allergy. I've had 6 of these pacifiers and have only lost them; they've never worn out or shown any kind of wear. I wash them in the dishwasher on a weekly basis and haven't found a need to sterilize them in a sterilizer.
These pacifiers are available at most Wal-Mart stores but they are a bit cuter than the ones pictured. I believe we bought our Pooh set at Target. I think the picture is rather old. The newer designs are more baby like and much more attractive. The First Years products are definitely affordable and well worth a try! (I believe we bought our Pooh set at Target.)
