We received a can of Planters Sweet N' Crunchy Peanuts as a gift for the holiday. As I opened the can and smelled the fresh smell, I knew this Planter product would be a hit. I expected more salty than sweet and got a little more sweet. Overall, it was hit and the can was gone quickly. I have to save some to eat while writing this review! Ha
Price:
On Amazon, you can get 6 cans for $20. We received as a gift so I don't know how much one can would be.
Package and Size:
The 10 ounce Blue can had been around for a long time. They did not change the color or the Peanut "guy". It is lined with paper and very fresh when you open it. The serving size is 18 pieces each. The can says there is 10 servings. Each serving is 8 grams of fat.
Taste:
As I said in the beginning, I was expecting more salty taste. The peanut's taste lends more toward the sweet side but not as sweet as caramel. Each peanut is coated so there are no clumps. They are quite tasty and can be addicting.
Ingredients:
Very simple: peanuts, sugar, butter and salt. So simple it makes it seem you could make them.
Reminder:
All of your family would enjoy this peanut but remember to watch children under 6. The peanuts could cause choking.
Overall:
The Sweet N Crunchy Planters peanuts are a great blend of sweetness and salty. Not as salty as the normal kind, I did not cook with them but I would imagine trying to cover them in chocolate would not work. Not enough saltiness.
