bgoodday's Full Review: San Diego Padres Square Shot Glass - 2 oz.
We lived in San Diego, California for a number of years and because we are so into baseball we would often go to the San Diego Padre baseball games. We never missed a game where the Padres were hosting the Chicago Cubs and we would always without a doubt have to sit behind the Chicago Cubs dugout. When we left California we all purchased our California souvenirs and I purchased two shot glasses.
One of those shot glasses was the San Diego Padres Shot Glass. On three separate occasions my boys were placed on little league teams that were named after the Padres and so while my favorite team is the Chicago Cubs, I still have a fond place somewhere inside of me for this baseball team. I decided that it would be a great shot glass to add to my already substantial collection.
The San Diego Padres Shot Glass is the exact same as all over my other Major League Baseball shot glasses. I paid $5.99 for it four and half years ago but I doubt it has gone up that much in price since then. It stands 2 1/2 inches high and each all of the corners on it are rounded. This shot glass can hold up to two ounces of liquor in it and is made of clear glass. I have never put any alcohol in this shot glass so I consider it to be a shot glass virgin.
The San Diego Padres Shot Glass has a really cool metal emblem on the front of it that represents the team very well even though it does not have the team colors on it. The emblem is round with a white center and gray outer edge. The team logo that is shaped like a home plate and has San Diego Padres on it is displayed in pewter in the center of the white circle. There was another shot glass that did a great job of replicating the actual team logo but I like the pewter one so much better and since it is my collection I get what I like.
You are supposed to be able to wash the San Diego Padres Shot Glass in the dishwasher but I have never used the shot glass therefore I have never had a reason to wash it. It does not collect dust because it is on display inside a glass cabinet. I keep all of my shot glasses in a glass cabinet so people can see them but they are less likely to touch them. I really do not want to have to travel back to some states like Kansas just to get another shot glass. If you are a San Diego Padres fan and enjoy having a shot every now and again then I would recommend you get one of these glasses.
You and your friends can enjoy a drink during the big game with these 2 ounce square shot glasses. They feature a photo quality domed team logo. **We ...More at Sports Fan Warehouse
