Pros: Aluminum and paraben-free. No animal testing.
Cons: Didn't work for me.
The Bottom Line: This didn't work for me as I prefer not to have to reapply during the day. If you're willing to reapply, it might work for you.

| lllovemakeup's Full Review: Queen Helene Deodorant Stick Mint Julep 2.25oz |
Being a Queen Helene fan, I was thrilled to discover they make Queen Helene Deodorant Stick, Mint Julep. (I found this out when searching their website for the particulars of the Queen Helen Masque Mint Julep .) I've been searching for an aluminum-free deodorant, so this seemed just right.
I purchased this product at the brick and mortar store, The Vitamin Shoppe, for a little over $4. You can purchase this product on their website, the Queen Helene website (www.queenhelene.com), as well as other sites online. You may be able to find it in other brick and mortar stores, but I haven't seen it myself.

My experience:
The product is packaged in a hard, white, plastic bottle measuring approximately 5"x2.5'x1", with a dark green, pull off cap. To dispense, you turn the dial located on the bottom of the bottle to reveal a hard, waxy, green deodorant that smells pleasantly of mint. The product glides on smoothly and clearly, and I can feel a slightly cooling sensation on my underarm skin.
I tried this product on three different days as I wanted so badly for it to work. Note: I'm the type who prefers to apply deodorant in the morning, then forget about it.
(Yes, I wrote all this down on all three days after it didn't work on the first day)
Day 1: Hot day. Spent time outside working on yard. I applied around 7:00 am. I could smell a faint b.o. smell by around noon.
Day 2: Hot day. Spent time indoors cleaning and doing laundry. I applied around 7:00 am. I could smell a faint b.o. smell by around 5:00 pm.
Day 3: Mild-temperatured, overcast day with rain. Spent day indoors reading a book and napping. I applied around 7 am. I could smell a faint b.o smell by 10:00 pm when I went to take a shower.
As you can see, it held out well on day three, but how many days do any of us spend doing practically nothing? As you can imagine, I would not recommend this product in general for those who like to only apply underarm product once per day. I know there are some people who are so committed to wearing an aluminum-free and paraben-free deodorant that they will apply throughout the day. If you are one of those people, I see no reason why this product wouldn't work for you.
To check out all the Queen Helene products (including other deodorants), check out the website.
Two off-smelling stars. I was going to give it one star due to my experience, but I think it would work for those who are willing to reapply during the day.
Thanks for reading and rating!! :)
(Incidentally, I have now found an aluminum-free deodorant that works all day, but it's not in the database yet. I'll keep checking!)
