Pros: Small enough for pocket, nice combination of tools, quality, price
Cons: Bad light switch design turns on itself, weak light
The Bottom Line: I would give it 5 stars if it was not for the light. Buy it for the rest of the tools, and you will be happy. Great knife!

I was looking for a Swiss Army knife to replace the one I finally lost after many, many years. I wanted something small enough to carry in my pocket but otherwise with full complement of useful tools.
Victorinox website has a knife finder feature that, while not perfect, gives you an idea of the knife you might want. Huntsman Lite (lite indicates that it has a built in LED) had the best overall combination for my needs. I did not need the light, nor did I expect much from it.
Well, while the knife itself is great, the light did not even meet my very low expectations. The biggest problem is that the switch for the light is right on top of the light itself, and easily turns on while you carry it in your pocket, killing the batteries. They could have easily placed the switch on the bottom of the light which would require you to open the light first, then turn it on. That would be a secure solution that prevented inadvertent activation. As it stands, even though I was careful, the light was killed within days and stayed that way since.
I like the rest of the tools and the light is now just a useless ornament. Batteries would be easy to change but why bother when they will just die again.
Enough about the light gimmick. The knife itself is well balanced and has nice complement of tools. I use it once every other day in a pinch, and more often on trips. The quality is outstanding. My favorite tools have to be the scissors and the Phillips screwdriver.. it is very strong.
This is about the biggest Victorinox you can buy and still carry in your pocket.. if you get one of the models with more tools people may start asking :
".. Is that a Swiss Army knife in your pocket of are you just happy to see me? " Hehehe... You don't want that.
This model does not have pliers but small pliers are generally pretty useless.
Victorinox is the original Swiss Army knife and one of the only two genuine Swiss Army knife makers. Do not buy an imitation, they break easily. The real thing is cheap enough and will last for years.
