What does it take for personal Fitness?

Pros: Durable, easy to install.

Cons: sometimes handles move and hard to screw in brackets.

The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend this product because of the durability of it and the price. Now its all up to the person to put it to good use.

PRODUCT:Doorway Pull Up (Chin up)Bar.

As an athlete I'm always concerned about my personal fitness. So when their was two years of my life where I was limited to working out for only half-an-hour and in my apartment this low costing pull up bar helped me out a lot. The doorway pull up bar comes with two cup shaped brackets which you screw in on both sides of the doorway. You then can extend the pull up bar and secure it in these brackets.  Ofcourse to get good results or a good workout one must put in the effort. 

DURABILITY:
The bar is made of metal which makes it hard to break and can extend to almost any doorway, yet it can hold up to 300 lbs. I used the bar for over two years and it still is in great shape. The downside is that if you use the bar in a doorway wider than 32" the weight resistance goes down.  I myself wiegh about 190 lbs and it has held strong. 

THE HANDLES:
The product comes with two black foam rubber grips. They help when installing the bar into the doorway by providing a grip to extend or retract the bar. They also help in doing the pull ups so your hands don't get callused. The handles sometimes slide up and down the bar making it difficult to keep them in a set position while exercising.

INSTALLATION:
The installation is simple, screw the brackets into the sides of the door and extend the bar until it is firmly fit into the brackets. The most difficult part of this process is screwing in the screws. It is sometimes difficult to find a good spot for the screws. While the brackets must stay in place the bar can be removed and even placed lower to the ground to put your feet under if one wanted to do sit-ups.

COST:
One of the cheapest home gym products you can buy yet it can bring amazing results.

  Though it is a pull up bar it can be used for other workouts such as situps.  You can remove the bar and put it lower to the ground so you can slide your feet under it while you do sit ups.  You can also put the bar midway down in the doorway and do inverted rows to strengthen your back.

The Doorway Pull Up Bar is a cheap way to a fit body. It is easy to install, durable and like I said its cheap. What else could you ask for in a home gym product?
