Pros: Interesting history prior to ride
Cons: If you are scared of dinosaurs or reptiles avoid this ride. Jerky motions and dark.
The Bottom Line: This will leave you terrified if you are not prepared for it. Imagine big scary monsters jumping out at you in the dark.

| luv2teach's Full Review: Dinosaur - Disney |
Ok I'm not one to admit when I am scared out of my mind but this ride was super scary. If you are not a fan of dinosaurs, apparently I am not, this is not the ride for you. When you wait in line you will get to see the dinosaur artifacts and there is a short history bit in a small pavilion prior to entering the ride. You enter a small room where you watch a video stating what you will be searching for on your dinosaur expedition. You are going to go on a safe mission but much to the chagrin of the riders safe suddenly turns dangerous. The ride is very jerky and not for people who have back or neck problems. I had a hard time keeping tabs of my surroundings because I was moving around so much. After the very first dinosaur came screaming out at us I was done with the ride. I spent the rest of the ride buried in the shoulder of my husband and praying that nothing would touch me. I was so frightened by the experience and wouldn't recommend this ride at all for small children. This is not a ride for a child who likes dinosaurs because playing with dinosaurs and having giant, carnivorous, scary, animatronic dinosaurs jump out at you is not fun. I would recommend this ride to anyone who does not scare easily and is able to sit on rides that move a lot and quickly. I did notice as we were coming back to the start of the ride a lost hat on the side of the ride. So hold on to your hats, purses, etc they may fly off.
