Pros: Nice looking and quite sturdy compared to other cheapo brands, Extra big drawer
Cons: Easily scratchable, Not the sturdiest brand

I bought this brand new crib last week at a bargain price from ebay.. Assembly was rather easy (~1 hour )
Once the crib was put together it looked very nice. (You need an adjustable ranch and a phillips screw driver while assembling - not included. Rest everything needed for assembly is included)

However the wood used is very very soft and very easily scratchable even by finger nails. It was packed nicely but came slightly scratched and small wood chips were broken (not easily noticiable) at atleast 4-5 places. (again because of the quality of wood used).

I am not sure how good this would be when i covert it to day bed (however that was not my intention when i bought it ;-)

All in all - this is a nice crib as i bought it at half the market price. I would NOT spend 370+ retail price for this crib.

Very heavy packing. So if you are picking up from somewhere make sure u have SUV/Mini Van and a helper in loading/unloading. If shipping to ur place - no worries !!

This crib feels great, looks great. I was very excited about this crib when I purchased it for my first child. However, now that she is almost 2 we decided to convert it to a toddler bed. Big mistake. The guard rail that comes with it is mostly decorative and the only purpose I think it serves is to keep the mattress stable. It will not prevent your child from rolling off the bed onto the floor and possibly hitting their head or mouth on the drawers. I talked to customer service and they had no solution. They do not recommend bed rails from stores since those require a mattress and box spring which this crib does not have. I'm very disappointed by this development and the fact that Storkcraft has no solution to this problem.

I recently bought the storkcraft aspen crib and change table. I would have to say this was a very bad mistake. The crib went together OK althought I wouldnt say it was the highest quality piece in the world. However the change table was a piece of garbage. The drawer didnt fit properly and I had to put in a shim to get the runners to fit so it wouldnt fall off. I emailed the company and sent pics of the problem and they sent me the allegedly correct parts. The problem was that each of the three pieces were of different colors!! One was white and the other was a different shade of brown! Unbelievable. I have written them again but have not gotten a response in a month. Do not buy this product in my opinion.
