I ordered several baby shower items (tubby towels, baby bath set) off Wrapables and was very pleased with the on-time delivery and overall product quality. The website is easy to use and graphically, very nice. I have since ordered two home decor items (bookshelves and salt shakers) which arrived on-time and were considerably cheaper than in a local retail store.

I have had two very different experiences with Wrapables.com and it seems the real sinker is how someone pays for their merchandise. The first time I bought from them I did it via Amazon with my debit card. My card was immediately billed, and shipping was lightning fast. I gave them a whole hearted 5/5.

Looking on their website after my initial purchase, I saw a huge Labor Day sale. Because the other experience went so swimmingly, I decided to order more gifts, this time using a check. There was a deep discount on many of the items I planned on buying anyway and I was thrilled. My order took place on labor day, the check cleared 8 days later, and it is now 8 days after that.

My order status is still pending, and there is still a cancel button next to my order on the website. I have school next week and my idea was to get all of Christmas taken care of before I started again. Considering how well the first purchase went, I find this second experience to be a stark contrast and am seriously considering using that little cancel button.

I ordered for the first time from Wrapables a couple weeks before Christmas. The order came in a fairly timely manner but I received a broken item. It was fairly apparent that it was broken before they even sent it but anyway. It took over three weeks to finally get any resolution. I called and called and emailed and emailed and never talked to an actual person. Still to this day I have yet to talk to a real person. My only communications were leaving voicemails since no one answers the phone there and sending emails no one answered. If finally took a threat of going to my credit card company and coming here that they FINALLY sent me an email. They did send me a replacement item and credit the item to my account BUT it was over two weeks AFTER Christmas. So I guess I'll give it next year . . . A disappointing experience.

I was very happy with my first large purchase from www.wrapables.com until I realized one of the items I purchased was damaged. When I called them for a return, they refused to exchange the product. After wasting 30 minutes on the phone, they agreed to exchange it. Then, they told me to mail it back to them using a shipping code, which I learned was invalid. So, I wasted another 30 minutes in line to mail it. Finally, I am making my last attempt to return it, but I have been very unimpressed by the customer service representatives, who are more interested in reading their prepared scripts instead of actually listening to the problem the customer is having. I will never shop here again. I get better deals from the sale sections on www.crateandbarrel.com and www.potterybarn.com.
