Details: Established where Lewis and Clark discovered the Jefferson, Madison, and Gallatin rivers joining to form the Missouri River, Missouri Headwaters was a geographical focal point important to early Native Americans, trappers, traders, and settlers. Interpretive displays tell of the area's cultural and natural history.<br><br><b>Directions:</b>&nbsp;&nbsp;4 miles northeast of Three Forks, off of Hwy 205, then onto Hwy 286.
