Details: Often called the Little Grand Canyon, Grand Gulf was created when the ceiling of a giant cave collapsed. A bit of remaining roof forms one of the largest natural bridges in Missouri. The gulf winds for a mile through vertical walls as high as 130 feet. The day-use park offers picnic areas, trails and several scenic overlooks.<br><br><b>Directions:</b>&nbsp;&nbsp;6 miles west of Thayer, off Hwy. W in Oregon County.
