How to improve?

I recently wrote a review of Sweeney Todd and Crank. Crank is just getting "Helpful" while Sweeney Todd seem to get a SH.

I fixed a review because of an advice given to me by an advisor, but people continue to post Helpful. It seems like they are just rating it Helpful because there were Helpful ratings from before the edit. If that's not true, how can I geniunely improve upon it?

I have emailed the advisors for advice, but in general, how does one write very good movie reviews? I rarely get a Helpful anymore, and I don't wish to tarnish my reputation with horribly written reviews. :) Also, I thought I did a good job of walking that fine line of explaining the movies without giving away too much, but for those section that will spoil the movie, I give ample warning.

Either way, please let me know what I can do to improve on these, as well as future movie reviews. I would very much like to start writing about movies, but have always been afraid to for this exact reason.

Thanks!

I commented at the Crank review.

One thing I forgot to mention there: be sure to email those who rated before your re-write to please come read again. Politely of course.
