Off topic?

I just wrote a piece for the new 2009 Toyota Corolla, and it seems to be in the write catagory. Why am I being rated "off topic"?

I haven't been able to email the advisors who rated me because they block my personal web mail service, so I'll do that tonight. But since I'm here, I figured I might get a quicker response.

Here is the piece in question:

Thanks for any help.

Holy crap, it is hard to find the listing for the 2009 Corolla on Epinions. The only way I could find the listing was to go to your profile page, Nad, and click on the link there for the 2009 Corolla.

That said, I just checked the drop-down selection box for the 2009 Corolla listing and it only goes up to 2008. Although your review is correctly in the 2009 listing, you can't select 2009 from the selection box and that's why you were rated OT. (I had to write a bogus 200+ word review in order to find out that the drop-down selection only went to 2008!)

You have a nice review and I rated it VH. I suggest that you write to a Cars CL and ask if that small detail can be corrected.

In the meantime, we don't like having URLs listed here in the forums. Now that you've gotten some response, can you delete your URL? Otherwise, I will have to delete this thread. Thanks!

I emailed the last advisor to apprise him of the circumstances.

As of this moment, it's only been there for thirteen hours. With luck, it'll be easier to find in a couple of days (though you might want to monitor the site for the arrival of a non-SAP version of the listing and move it then, Nad, because products added by SAP are often harder to find than the ones added automatically.)

.

Thanks for all your help, everyone! I edited my starter so the URL is not there anymore.

I filled out a SAP form, and it appeared the next day (the CLs are pretty quick!). However, I actually found it by surfing over to the 2008 Toyota Corolla, then changing the URL manually to 2009 and it appeared right away.

It is not listed via the search or in the New Cars section yet, though.

Thanks again for everyone's help!
