RE: Car Review Question
Quote: clamarama I recently wrote a review of a car and after I finished it, I noticed that the review is in the Used Car category, but it's a 2008 model, so it should have been under new cars. I don't understand why the 2008 model is even listed under used cars. Should I create a new review in the new car category and delete the old one? Am I allowed to have it in both categories (since the car itself - model year and all) is in both categories? Thanks.
At the end of October, Epinions dramatically changed its search engine and the way its database was put together. This has caused LOTS of search- and database-related problems, which are slowly being ironed out. This is almost certainly the reason why your review ended up in a less-than-favorable spot. Don't feel bad... it's happened to many of us.
You should move your review to the 2008 xB listing that falls under "New Cars," which is actually easy to do. There is a blue link to the left of your review that says "Move" -- click on it and follow the instructions. When you move your review this way, all the ratings and comments stick with it, which is a good thing in this case. You are not allowed to have your review posted in two listings.
The correct listing for a 2008 xB review under new cars is http://www0.epinions.com/2008_Scion_Xb_2
