"Magazine Subscriptions" Category

I'm not sure when it happened (haven't really been paying attention lately to the magazine database), but I was wondering why the hits on some of my magazine reviews suddenly dropped way down and I realized that there is a new "Magazine Subscriptions" category. I apologize if this has been known for months - but I just found out.

My question is - I went and searched this new category and it seems that some magazines that were in the old catalog aren't in the list and others that are in the list, didn't carry over the reviews from the original list. For example I reviewed The Advocate magazine years ago (http://www.epinions.com/mags-The_Advocate/display_~reviews), yet when you search for it and the topic comes up, it is without any reviews (http://www.epinions.com/The_Advocate_Magazine).

There's also no longer any information for the magazine in the original topic (http://www.epinions.com/mags-The_Advocate/display_~full_specs). Does this mean that these kind of reviews are orphaned and should be moved? Do they count towards anything where they are?

I'm just wondering what to do.

Jeff

(I'm not sure what happened, but I had posted this, then went to edit it and the whole thing disappeared, so if the original post pops up, that's what happened.)

You can always try filing a report.

Not that anything will be done about it.

RE:

I have checked that out as well to see if some of mine are coming up and right away I found 2 magazine reviews from a year ago that are not found through the search, nor when I use keyword, or whatever.
When I go back and click on them through my review link It is their, (and the other 143 reveiws)

When I searched for it through Google it was still there though - so that is good.

It does seem odd that they have not all been moved over from the News and Magazines to the Magazine subscriptions category though....

Edited to add that through Google I also came to a site MySimon.com that has my magazine review as well.
Is this an affiliate to Epinions?

RE:

I don't think so, but I'm not up to date on my affiliates. I'm sure someone on the general board can tell you.
