How do I find a Magazine

What do I need to type in search to find a particular magazine to review. I've stumbled at random onto reviews for Popular Science and Consumer Reports, to name a couple, but when I type those names in the search engine, I can't find the review again.

Is there any secret to finding a specific magazine? I've tried typing titles in General Search and under Magazines & Newspapers, and Magazines & Subscriptions.

Puzzling. Thanks for bringing it up.

I've tried a few searches and it will say that it's found X number of matches in the magazines category, but instead of displaying those matches it just displays the related deals. It seems as if the engine is choking on this--functioning, but not displaying the results for the category.

Can anyone confirm this? If I'm not just seeing things we probably ought to report it.

Yes, there is a secret to finding any topic on Epinions, and that is to use Google to search and not Epinions' own search engine. Really. Those of us who've been around here a while know that Epinions' search engine is rife with problems and peculiar results.

The best way to search for anything on Epinions is to use Google. Use this syntax: "consumer reports reviews site:epinions" (You do not need to use the quotes.) Notice that there is no space between the colon and "epinions."

A Google search for anything on Epinions will be much more reliable than Epinions' own search tool. Just one of life's little mysteries...

I could not find one magazine through epi search so I did google it and yes indeed I fond it in epi right away!

I was just about to bother the leads for no reason so thanks! Hmm, now I just have to design a killer mag reviewer style!
