go to the store you boght it from and raise holy hell, or depending on what you bought it with, some credit providers offer services where it can be "returned" through them, kind of like a second fiddle lemon law. More realisticly it is a secondary warranty that is established by purchase with, possible, other avenues of resolution. In situations like this, due diligence can vary from state to state, but in this case if you wanna go that far, based on the sheer number of "failure events" or rather the number of times they have already "fixed" it, most reasonable ppl would see the product as defective.
Most likely the letter of the warranty states repair or replacement at that company's discretion, but that doesn't mean they can keep doing this. Talk to your credit card company first. Amex has very consumer weighted options in situations like this, almost regardless of the product. You might want to go and check consumerreports.com to see if there are known issues. |
