Amazon.com is one of the better on-line stores. It has an excellent array of merchandise and it's prices are o.k. Almost all of it's products are discounted by at least 10% but if you factor in the cost of shipping, it might be cheaper to buy it at a store. I mainly use Amazon.com for product research, by comparing ratings for a group of similar products, I can figure out which product is the best suited for my needs. If i'm buying a book of CD, I research it on Amazon.com first, and then go to half.com to see if they have it. If half.com has it, it's usually at a greatly discounted price so I buy it there instead of at amazon.com. Amazon.com has come out with an "amazon.com marketplace" which, like half.com, sells used products. Sometimes the amazon.com marketplace price is better but the shipping cost is usually higher than half.com's. For the best price, I would recommend looking at both sites.
