I am a member of Mypoints.com and got a email saying Barnes and Noble is offering free shipping on orders of 2 or more books plus I get 2 points per dollar spent. Since I am taking a trip this week I wanted to get something to read for the car ride. So I went and looked around...I found Rosie O'Donnell's new book and also a book I'd had my eye on for a while.

BarnesAndNoble.com makes it easy to find whatever you are looking for. They have many ‘Best’ lists including Best Selling Books, Best Selling Movies, which make it easy to find books you’ve heard of on Oprah or other shows. Page loads are usually pretty fast with my 56K. A very nice layout with excellent search tools. If you visit, don’t forget to check out their Half-Priced section, which usually has some pretty good books up to 88% off.
Shopping
Adding items to your cart is easy and you can continue adding until you are ready to checkout. You can then modify the quantity and toss out anything that you’ve changed your mind on. Also, if you decide not to buy anything at that time, you can add the items to your wish list. You do need to create an account, which is simple; it’s done as you are checking out. I found the checkout extremely easy and liked the fact you didn't have to enter tons of information. You can also send items as gifts or buy gift certificates from the site.
Tax & Shipping
You will be charged tax if you live in KY, NY, NJ, TN, or NV. I received free shipping but shipping is usually around $3.00+ and $0.99 for each item. Shipping can get high so shop when they have free shipping or discounted shipping specials.
Returns
A nice thing about shopping at BarnesAndNoble.com is that you can take your returns to your nearest store for store credit. You must bring your packing slip and do this within 30 days from the invoice date. If you don’t have a store near you, you can use the package label that is on your invoice and they will credit your credit card with the purchase amount. Make note that shipping charges are not refundable.
My Thoughts
I placed my order on the 26th and received an email that my item was shipped on the 28th. I found that odd as it was shipped on a Sunday, but it arrived on the 30th. Both books that I ordered were packaged well and were exactly what I ordered. Since I didn’t have to pay shipping and handling I got a great deal. BarnesAndNoble.com has had every book I searched for and I’ve never seen an item out of stock. My main dislike about Barnes & Noble is that a lot of items are not affordable until they have been on a the market for quite some time. The only way I buy books is if they are listed below retail price especially if I'm paying shipping charges.
