| brandylee's Full Review: Olive Garden |
I love Olive Garden, and though you may think that I am insane, we eat there at least weekly. I know that everything I am looking for in a dining experience can be found within the walls of the Olive Garden. I don't want to waste my money and my time trying anything new, when I am already certain that when I leave Olive Garden, I will be satisfied.
The atmosphere of Olive Garden is very low key, a few suttle paintings on the wall and light table cloths (sometimes bare wood) - not a lot of fancy stuff to distract you. Music plays softly in the back ground, just enough to drown out the conversations next to you, and you can still hear those at your table.
The serve you with the absolute best salad in the world. It is romain lettuce with a ceasar type dressing, with tomatoes, olives, purple onions and cheese on top. Along with that comes the breadsticks, always hot and chewy.
I personally always order the Capalini Pomodoro (I use to order the pasta primavera but they took it off the menu) the Capalini is angel hair style pasta in a seasoned tomato sauce with lots of flavor. My husband has eaten everything on the menu, one by one he tasted them at each visit, and so far hasn't had a bite he didn't enjoy.
Children are welcome at Olive Garden as well. They have children's menus they can color, plastic cups and a children's menu that includes 4-5 different items, including spaghetti, which is my eldest daughter's favorite.
