The Bottom Line While Amazon is my favorite, Barnes & Noble is close behind mainly because of their selection.

Barnes and Noble has always been one of my favorite brick and mortar stores, but now that I am living in a rural area, there is not a store nearby - so I was happy to find their online store.
I will have to admit that, just like the regular store, it is easier to find what you are looking or by browsing rather than outright searching for a particular item. This was more fun in the store than it is online. The search capabilities aren't the worst, but they aren't the best, either. Their overall selection is excellent, though, and I've never had any problems with items I've ordered or delivery.
Back in the days before flooz shut down, I used to shop at Barnes & Noble more than I do now (since they accepted flooz). I will continue to shop there, however, despite the demise of flooz.
I love their bargain bins and I have been able to find books there for fantastic prices. Their online courses are also an intersting option (just remember you will need to purchase books in order to participate in the courses!) I think their shipping prices are better than Amazon's, but I still tend to shop - or at least look - at Amazon first.
