The new jaguar x type for 2007 is a fine car for the price.

The jaguar xtype now has the 3.0 motor standard for all cars. They no longer offer the 2.5 liter motor. The 3.0 motor was a option before and now it is the only motor they offer.

The jaguar x-type has a new grill design that is stainless steel. I like the look over the old black and chrome grill. The car also comes with 2 cup holders instead of one. Jaguar never wanted to have cup holders in the car but people wanted them so they gave in. The new jaguar x type also comes standard with a moon roof. The moonroof was a extra option before.

The body style and fit are still one of the better looking cars in this price. This is one car that turns heads where ever you go. Everyone knows what the car is because of the chrome jaguar emblem on the hood.

The interior of the jaguar x type is all class. Simple elegant luxury. The wood grain dash and optional wood steering wheel are first class. The interior has leather seats and door panels.

The stereo seems to have 2 new speakers for better sound placed in the doors. Simple easy to use stereo with cd player and optional 6 cd player extra. In car phone system is optional so is gps system.

The ride of the x type jaguar is smooth with very little road noise. Instruments are simple easy to read dials. Steering wheel is leather with wood trim option. Controls for stereo and phone are also in steering wheel for easy access.

The jaguar has all time 4 wheel drive for better traction in wet weather and snow. The motor is the 3.o litre with good power. Acceleration is very good for a car this heavy.

Mileage is very good for a car that weighs almost as much as a suv. I get average 24 miles a gallon for city and highway use.

Backup alarm tells if anything is close behind car.
Built in phone.

The jaguar is a fine road car. Smooth quiet ride with good acceleration. It handles good and stops great for such a heavy car. Paint and finish are very good.

The car is a four door sports sedan. It has a small back seat but most can fit in the back. I would not ride in the back on a long trip but it can carry 4 adults comfortable for short trips.

This is the second x type jaguar i bought. I still own the first one and will buy another one when i get rid of it. The first jaguar xtype has over 80,000 miles on it and no real problems with the car. I only had to have brakes done and replace struts in back of car.

The total for work done on the old jaguar xtype is 1200 dollars for struts and brakes. I replaced the back struts because the strut mount on one side wore out from all the pot holes where i live.

Considering the miles i put on the old jaguar xtype i decided another one is a good deal. The old jaguar is a 2003 xtype and for the mileage i put on the car the cost to keep it up is not as bad as i thought it would be.

Would i buy another jagar xtype yes i would and i did. Do i recommend this car yes.

The draw back to the jaguar x type is the cost for parts. Brake pads cost 80 to 100 dollars for a pair. This does not include installation. The cost for maintenance is higher than most cars but it is well worth it and less than i thought.
