Of all internet stores (including ebay), I would say that Amazon.com has made more money off of me than anyone else. I am a big fan of this site, and they have yet to let me down.
Products: CDs, DVDs/Videos, Books, Electronics, Toys & Games, Kitchen & Housewares, etc.
Selection: In CDs, DVDs/Video, and Books... it is absolutely excellent. If you can't find it here, you aren't going to have much luck elsewhere. These are the products the site started with and they are still the strong suit for Amazon.com. Especially in music... they carry more than you could imagine... I listen to everything from rock to pop to oldies to country to Egyptian to Turkish to Celtic to African to everything. I can almost always find what I am looking for which is absolutely amazing for the stuff that is not even close to the mainstream. Every once in awhile, though, you will encounter something that is "Out of Stock" but they offer a service that looks for the item and tells you when its available. In all the departments other than music, movies, and books... I would say the selection is wide and more than sufficient, but you will not find everything you search for. Amazon.com is constantly expanding to include more stuff all the time!
Price: I have found some excellent prices on things, and I have found some regular retail price items. I don't think I've ever encountered anything listed higher than most other online places... their prices stay pretty competitive and are downright excellent for some items. Keep an eye on specials-- they have them often and you can get great deals.
Features: I absolutely LOVE the wish list. There is nothing better. My whole family has a wish list on Amazon.com, and we almost always purchase our gifts from one another's lists. It is a great way to really get someone what they want. I also use my own list as a reminder of those things I would eventually like to buy.
Checkout: Talk about fast and easy. You can set up the checkout to have a 1-click feature. You click the button, and your order is in and usually shipped out the next day.
Shipping: The stuff almost always arrives within a few days, unless its noted otherwise.
Customer Service: I have never had any problems in this area. I have made several returns and not had a problem. I was once shipped the wrong items and upon e-mailing them, they immediately sent out the right items, even before I returned the items they accidentally shipped to me. They've always been very responsive to any questions I send to them.
This site is fantastic. They have a ton of features, include item reviews, and even have a place to send e-cards (which I do use!).
