Last October I ordered a video for my kids for Halloween. I had ordered from Amazon before and my orders always arrived within 7-10 days. After 15 days passed and the video had not arrived I checked the status of my order and it had been shipped. I e-mailed Customer Service to inquire about my order and they promptly responded.
The Customer Service Representative told me they would ship another video immediately shipping me my order 2nd day air at no cost to me. Not only was I surprised at how quickly I received a response but the person who responded took care of my problem immediately, without hassle and was very pleasant and nice. I did receive the video within the week.

Total Price $18.47
I honestly have never done business with such a delightful company. This is the model that all companies should follow. Since then I have ordered from Amazon on Several occassions and I highly recommend shopping them first.

I also like the Personalized Service for registered users. Amazon will recommend items for you according to your preferences or things you have ordered in the past

One click ordering is a plus
Once you have registered and placed an order
with Amazon they will store your information
and when you are logged into your account you
can turn this feature on or off. Once it is
on you can browse the site and when you see
an item you want click on the bar and your
order is automatically placed. You can still
cancel if you change your mind before your item
gets shipped.
Auctions
Often when you click on an item if a seller
has one for sale on auctions it will appear
as or buy it used in Auctions along with
the price usually considerably lower.
Customer reviews on products
Very similar to epinions with star rating system one worst and 5 best and a section for an overall written review.

You can place items on your wish list to remind you
to buy it later or to refer friends and family to.
