Wow, does this one have a ton of reviews. Yet having the most current evaluations is a good thing, right? I agree. Thus, in a second attempt to pacify my husband’s request for shorter reviews, (He’s a “just the facts, Ma’am” kind of guy.) I’m going to zip through this as quickly as possible.
Amazon.com is mind bogglingly brilliant. It is one of my top three sites for shopping and is probably my number one overall pick. It is great! Look at all of these reasons why:
• Easy (an addictive) website to navigate. I’m able to quickly find the product desired as well as similar goods I might not have known about. I like how they provide a running stat of how many customers bought this item and how many bought other like ones. They provide direct links to them all.
• Product ratings and reviews right there. No offense to Epinions with this plus, I simply appreciate the instant access. I’m a firm believer though in also checking here before buying.
• FREE SUPER SAVER SHIPPING available on most of their products when order totals $25.00! That’s awesome. So many sites expect double, triple, or quadruple that to secure no cost mailing. Amazon’s deal is one of the biggest reasons why I like this site so much.
• Prices are comparable and competitive. I always check here when pricing an item. Generally, they are as good if not better than other sites. They frequently beat brick and motor stores too.
• SELECTION. I thought the super Wal-Mart’s stock was huge. The choices available on amazon.com are humongous. They have books, movies, personal care products, sporting goods, grocery items, electronics, and on and on. If they don’t sell it directly, they might have a third party vendor that works with them that does. Sometimes, these other sellers have out of print books, discontinued merchandise, or other hard to find items. On occasion, these other sellers have lower prices than amazon.com.
• Shipping, even when using the super saver option, is on time or sooner. I can’t think of a single time I had to wait more than five working days for my processed order to arrive. No matter what I order, it arrives on safely and on time.
• Extras – search history, wish list, gift list, save for later option, etc. All of these added features increase the convenience and functionality of shopping through amazon.com.
I think amazon.com is fantastic. It was a tremendous help when I was housebound. I bought groceries and toiletries at great prices without worrying about getting to the supermarket or cutting out coupons.
I have had no problems at all with my orders. Customer Service promptly replied to my email when I had a question once about writing a product review otherwise I haven’t needed their assistance.
I’m sure I could continue but I know Hubby is already rolling his eyes at my wordiness, so I better get going. Bottom line for me is that I’m a loyal amazon.com shopper, have been for years, and think I will continue to be for quite some time. It’s an awesome place.
