Amazon.com....what a joke! My first and LAST experience on Amazon came in a similar instance as the rest of the reviews. I found the "best price" listed for a product on Amazon, so I figured I would give them a try. I ordered my product on Dec. 12th with "free shipping", "in stock", and "ships in 1-2 days". Well, go figure, on Dec. 22nd Amazon sends me an email saying that I won't rcv. it until after January 26th! Of course there is NO WAY to contact Amazon, so I called my credit card company to tell them not to pay for it, but it was showing as a "pending" item. Strange thing though, the c.c. rep knew right away what company that I was talking about and had the 1-800 phone number memorized!! So, I called Amazon and talked to someone that had no answers, only a script in front of them that he continued to quote. I finally got fed up with his jibberish and asked him to look on his web page at my product (that wouldn't ship until after Jan. 26th), and asked him why they were breaking the law and falsely advertising the shipping of 2 days when they knew it wouldn't ship for 2 months. Silence........(I guess that wasn't in his script). I proceded to tell him that if he did not contact the proper authority within 24 hours to remove the illegal advertisement, that I would contact my lawyer and sue him and the company. Well, guess what? Within 12 hours, I rcvd. 4 emails describing how they "found" one, and would overnight express it to me at no extra cost.....ROFLMAO! I have not noticed in any of the other opinions wether or not the bad reviews with similar experiences took the free shipping or not, but I am figuring that the good reviews DID pay for shipping, and rcvd. there products in priority as to how much they paid for shipping. Anyway, I spend hundreds, if not, thousands of $$$ per year on internet shopping, and I will NEVER shop at Amazon.com again, and I am putting an extra page on my website describing all of the above. I kept the Amazon rep's name and all of the emails and everything else so that I have the documentation to protect myself against a slander lawsuit, because all of this has been a horrific experience that no-one should ever have to go through. My advice to you....don't ever shop online with anyone that does not have a way to contact them! We live and we learn.....
