Just a quick note to any concerned. DESPITE what everything on Dealtime says, this is a socket 754 processor, not a socket A part. If you are looking for a socket A CPU, *THIS AIN'T IT*!!
Just for reference, there are NO AMD 64-bit processors available for the socket A platform, all 64 bit processors are socket 754 or 939. The best (fastest) processor available for socket A is the XP 3200 , 400mhz FSB (Barton Core). This is nearly impossible to actually find, leaving the XP 3000 , 400 mhz FSB (Barton Core) as the fastest socket A CPU really available.
For OC'ers of course, if you have a mobo that will support it, the XP mobile processors for socket A *may* be a better deal.
