80's music is always in my CD rotation, I'm not afraid to admit it... I do have one problem with your review, and that's that it was slightly misleading. I was expecting to see some specific albums, not just greatest hits collections, which gives me the impression that you might as well have just made a 'top 10 bands of the 80's' list. BUT, it was very well written and you show more than enough knowledge about the subject, so you get a VH from me.
The fact that I agree with you about your top 2 wholeheardetley doesn't hurt either.

I didn't realize some of these greatest hits cds existed. I see a few on your list I'll have to add to my collection. Great picks, especially since you were too young to have enjoyed these the first time around. Alas, I am old enough to fall into the category you mentioned of having been in high school during the hair band heyday! Nicely done :)
