My experience with Amazon.com was awful, hard to get ahold of customer service.

I decided to order a t-mobile family plan with 4 phones from Amazon because they had the best prices by far. It has not been worth the money I've saved, thus far I have spent over 1/2 hour talking with Amazon's customer service department and haven't gotten much result. T-mobile approved my credit application and the t-mobile rep personally called amazon to let them know that they could go ahead and ship my order. Amazon instead of shipping held onto my order for over a week. I emailed them multiple times to let them know but I kept getting the same pre-scripted reply that didn't even answer my problem. I finally emailed and told them to cancel my $600+ order unless someone could call me, I then finally got ahold of their customer service department. The first person I talked to told me my phones had shipped on Monday and I would be emailed the tracking number shortly. Checked my email Monday and Tuesday no tracking number, so I called customer service again to find out they hadn't even shipped. To make matters worse, 2 of the phones that I ordered were not in stock now (I was told they would ship w/in 24hrs when I placed the order). This is especially a problem because the phones have to be activated by March 31st to qualify for the t-mobile rebate, and now they won't be here till April. So after over a week I have no phone and probably won't qualify for the rebates now, so I have saved nothing and gotten a lot of headaches out of the deal. Last time I bought cellular service I used Letstalk.com and there were no problems, great company! This is just my experience so beware about rebate deadlines and order at least a month before you actually want the phone if you use Amazon! I will never use them again, it's well worth the extra 20 bucks to get what I ordered without the hassle.
